Directions to Whissendine and Conifers:
Conifers is located approximately 3 miles from Oakham and 5 miles from Melton Mowbray. We are within easy reach by road – 15 minutes from the A1 (Stamford) and 30 minutes from the M1 (Leicester or Loughborough).
From Melton Mowbray:
Leave Melton Mowbray on the A606 towards Oakham. Travel through Burton Lazars and continue for approximately 2/3 mile. Turn left on the Whissendine / Stapleford road. Continue for 3 miles, entering village. At T–Junction turn left and follow road around right hand bend and past Whissendine Primary School on left. Conifers is located 50 yards beyond school (immediately opposite St. Andrews Close and next door to Slipcote) and is accessed via sloping drive. Electric gates are installed - please ring ahead as you arrive or press the buzzer beside the gates.
From Oakham:
Leave Oakham on the A606 towards Melton Mowbray. After exiting village of Langham take right fork sign-posted towards Whissendine. Follow road for 2 miles, entering village. Follow road around right hand bend and past Whissendine Primary School on left. Conifers is located 50 yards beyond school (immediately opposite St. Andrews Close) and is accessed via sloping drive. Electric gates are installed - please ring ahead as you arrive or press the buzzer beside the gates.
