Hilltop Stables is a beautiful converted stables block located within the village. It has one bedroom, cooking facilities and can accommodate up to 4 people. Yew Tree Farmhouse is a fabulous 17th Century farmhouse situated in the quiet village of Teigh, close to Whissendine. Michelle Watkin has recently converted the 2nd floor landing area to provide two eves double bedrooms with private bathroom. The second double bedroom is available as an overspill for families, or for two couples happy to share a bathroom. Call Michelle on 01572 787675 or 07775 864434. Highly recommended by us. The White Lion Inn is a great village pub in Whissendine and has 8 en-suite bedrooms. It is now (since Dec 08) under new management and has a fabulous restaurant serving Indian (and English) cuisine. You can dine in the bar or in the restaurant. The rooms are undergoing refurbishment, ask progress when calling. Call Sue or Cham on 01664 474233. Website to follow.
The Noel Arms is a lovely, traditional pub set in Langham between Oakham and Whissendine. It has three ensuite bedrooms and a good restaurant serving a range of dishes using fresh produce, sourced locally. Call Jenny or Paul on 01572 722931 for bookings or reservations.
Hillside House is a 4 star B&B located in Burton Lazars—between Melton Mowbray and Whissendine. It is a converted farm building and has three ensuite bedrooms. Call Sue or Peter for reservations on 01664 566312. Click on their website on the link below: |
